Something weird has happened to my browser...

In the past few days, certain words that occur in on any webpage, or even my homepage are mysteriously underlined by a yellow-green line. They are mini-links to web sites, i.e. computer could be underlined, i click, and it sends me to IBM.com. I haven't upadated Internet Expoler, or downloaded anything very odd. Can someone explain why this is happening?

Do you have IE 5.5. That happened on my old computer when I updated from 4.0 to 5.5. You could have changed some option or something. Other than that, I couldn't help you. I suggest looking at the internet options or seeing which search engine you have your browser set to. It may even be one of those get paid to surf programs, that you put on your browser. They can do weird stuff.
