Hello

Hope you don't yawn alot while reading this thread.
I listened to a slow, heavy music, and when I tried to (playfully) mimic the tone with a 'tenoric' expression, my brain urged me to yawn. Why? (don't tell me that's because I ain't making a good tenor)

Your body is hinting you, that you are listening to some boring ass music.

I can give three reasons for yahning, that I know of; choose which one you think applies, if any.

A change, in the level of perception, or awareness. (Did this change how you felt? More awake, or restful and tired?)

To apply extra oxygen to your body. (Not breathing well at the time, did the music relax you that much?)

And the final; though it is more of an answer, to the later post, then your own.

-Much like laughter, yahning is an exercise in almost Instinct-Level communication. We know how a person feels then, and it's something we can all identify with. ^^
