(This is my first post here btw, yay!) Anyway, I was just wondering, why is it that when I listen to music like Trance and Electronica, I'm overcome by a sense of euphoria, enough to make the hairs on my back straighten. Why is this? I thought that only happened when you're cold, lol.

Music incites emotions in the listener. The same way trance can give you the chills is the same way Mozart can bring tears to the audience eyes. I am not exactly sure why music is such a powerful medium but the influence of music goes far back as recorded human history.

Music as well as smell act as powerful reminders but Music goes much further in its influence. It would seem the mind was designed to for music and rhythm.

Great music makes you want to soar while bad music makes you want to crash and burn! Listen to Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven if you really want to reach new heights in the classical world that is.
