i'm looking into buy a telescope and wondering what brands you'all guys like to use or recommend. I'm looking at something under 1k and powerful enough to see things clearly.

With a $1,000 budget, go for an 8" telescope... and use the rest of the dough on a set of eyepieces and accessories.
