my friend fills up old 20 oz bottles of coke with water and freezes them until she wants to drink them. then she microwaves the water so she can drink it. the end.
okay, you might think that I am being a little bit of a tight ass by saying this but I will say it anyway. I don't trust microwaves enough to say that is a safe practice, especially if its not a great microwave (or if its an old one), water absorbs radiation like nothing else!
man, i don't give a shit about the water, but i've melted plastic in microwaves before.... that isn't exactly safe. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Man you got that right. You could end up with a whole lot of water to clean up and a twisted up piece of plastic. Water absorbing microwave radiation? I thought this was SciForums! It does absorb the radiation: that's exactly how it gets warm!
Yes but I mean harmful radiation, I have some theories about microwaves but I think I will keep them to myself, they are too useful to be too afraid of. Right now we are doing formulas with the periodic table at the school I am attending and it has prompted me to do some thinking about how certain elements and particles bond and the danger therein. Perhaps I will have some new theories about this but I will have to do more thinking about it.
Yeah but thats pretty retarded anyway. Why not just not freeze the water in the first place? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I have a friend that does spherical shits, seriously, they are softball sized spheres. Pretty wierd.
When you freeze water, it takes more place, no? Your friend is really strange (until further explanations...). :bugeye:
