Im typing to all the members who have been here for a long time, since i havent had a illustrious career here yet, i was wondering who are the most aggressive posters, so i can avoid posting opinions against them.

I'd say the people that have the most post-per-day-ratio, but I tend to have a different definition of aggression than most.

Yeah, you're a very aggressive poster. Aggression doesn't mean violent however. Aggression means to approach, to act. You are very active.

    Let me show you...

    *yanks out sarge's teeth*

    this is...

*forces a glass of salt water into his teethless mouth*

Well non of you are agressive posters that's for sure.

It depends on how you mean aggressive. As in is arguements all the time or uses more forceful means to get their way

I tend to be agressive when discussing freshness of fruit in particular and in general. Otherwise I am quite nice.

What is it with the upsurge in popularity contests? Who cares who is the most popular, it seems like you must either be; funny, controversial or arrogant to even get mentioned in them.
Personally, I am baffled at the concept. If someone has an agressive posting style it doesnt always mean they are correct.
Why isnt there a thread entitled: 'The Popularity Contest'? It would end this beating around the bush. I wouldnt even dare start one because A: It would piss of the mods off or B: It will get locked very quickly - within a flash of light.

I can fondly remember the days when I was still largely ignored. That was when I only posted in the biology forums, and restricted myself to serious posts.

And then I began spreading out my wings and started posting crap. And my 'popularity' rose accordingly. It is a sad world we live in.

It isn't very rewarding to make interesting serious threads though. They are largely very 'unsuccesful'. The biggest thread I have started in the biology forum for instance is the animal experimentation -mistreating animals thread. Although it might have started of slightly informative, it soon went beserk, and is full of crap.
On the other hand the thread combinatorial control , which had some potential never got of the ground.

At some point you start thinking. Let us not bother with trying to post something intelligent and go the easy way. I actually thought that the animal experimentation thread would do quite well, and this largely influenced my decision to start it.

once again...it is a sad forum we live in....

I have started quite a few threads that i thought had interesting topics but never took off. That was a while ago thus i cannot remember what their titles were. I generally stick to posting comments here and there nowadays and refrain from posting threads.
