what type of companies do you plan on creating and are you doing anything besides education to further that at this time?
I'm in university doing a degree. I hope to do my post-graduate work for an MBA at Harvard Business School. I have a few ideas. Right now I am a tutor. I teach high school and other college students math, physics, and chemistry. I also teach smaller children computers and the Internet. I plan on expanding that to elderly people. I also want to start an Oracle consultation company. I'm Oracle qualified and pretty good with maintaining a database. I'm also thinking of a software company that write custom software based on your needs. I have a few ideas there already... Areas which desperately need better software. And later when I have money I'd also like to buy and lease houses. You know, buy one and then rent it out. If done right, you could make lots of money. I'm also interested in directional drilling and ground penetration radar systems. Particularly in third world countries where documents on existing underground utilities (such as water pipes and telco wires) are non existant. They have a serious need to document it, and that is where the GPR comes in. Directional drilling is drilling a sort of tunnel under a road to put utilities in, such as another telecom wire. (This kinda stuff fascinates me.) Shit man, there are so many ideas... so little time... Never let this idea be your main focus. this is one of the reasons companies fail. if you have the insight to start it up, do not ever think that someone else will run it for you without running the risk of losing everything you initially put into it and then everything it has become. good luck with everything else. it is good to see someone with such focus and desire.

[Pictures siledre doing a "Muhahaha!" while wearing a cape and looking up into the dark, cloudy, sky as rain falls.] I'd like to be a business owner but lately, I've been thinking that I wouldn't like to own a restaurant in our hometown. It seems that we've become a socialist community. I'm kinda upset over a local law that has forced a non-smoking ban on all public establishments that serve prepared food, like restaurants and bars. It's ridiculous, IMHO, because: * The town in which we live is pretty sparse. * And the more important reason, to me, that this ban is ridiculous is that our local Enviromental Agency is not giving the owners any choice. It's simply going to be enforced, no questions asked. Some restaurant/bar owners are willing to comply as they are afraid of subjecting health risks to non-smokers, but other owners, especially those of local bars are outraged as they are afraid that they'll lose valuable customers. Anyhow, I guess the long and the short of it is that I'm not so much upset about the 'smoking/non-smoking debate' as I'm afraid that owning a restaurant wouldn't really be 'owning' in my hometown.
I would like to own my own company. Maybe after I have saved up some I could rent out some apartments.
i plan to open a nightclub in about 8 years. in other words, once i finish my current degree, get on my feet, then go back to school for business. lol. not going to give out too many details since it would be easy for someone to swipe up my idea and do it first with 8 years to spare... but keep an eye out.. Here is an idea: Find atleast 100 smokers with some money that they can survive without work for a year. Then make a club and go out seeking more smokers. Then puchase an area and make that your smoke city. Advertise for smokers to join you to form the new city....you get the idea. Smokers spend billions a year just on smokes. I am sure a small town can easily be setup....
Having owned a business with a $250,000(AUS) turnover p/a, for the last 7-8 years my advice would be don't bother with retail the general public is too fickle. Then there's the regulation, licensing, tax conformance, employees etc, it's a freakin nightmare. If you get a foot in the door dealing only with other businesses is much more profitable & reliable. The easy money is in the stock & property markets IMHO.

Man some are sneeky the have this one ad in a magazine called complex, its for Nissan and it has the light that is shining on the hood and roof that’s shaped like the hourglass figure for a women. I guess that’s why they call cars "she's". When will people learn that this isn’t right. We got to focus on more important shit. Family friends... a hobby, anything except being consumers. I myself can admit that I but alot of clothing. New t-shirts ever month. Sometimes every few week, but at least they are good... no better clothing. Some clothing is... good I guess but i have yet to own it. That what I aim to make myself... then I wouldn’t be guilty of being just another consumer. I got tons of artistic talent but the title for it, the logo. I haven’t come to me. I was thinking of having it a Latin translation, first come up wit a name. Plus what would you do with your now spare time??! I bet it would be wasted. Yes, that's why I'm surprised Jerrek posted his. That doesn't surprise me. Good idea SargentLard! It's been done, by many people. I think what most people think too much about is how to get the money, and not enough about what they would do with it. There isn't much else to spend money on (once one is settled) except a house really. The money spent on a house (mortgage (mortar-gauge?)) also contributes to general lifestyle and the lifestyle of the family. I think people pay more for the area, and less for the house; crime rates, citizen make-up, etc. all contribue to how much money will be lost in the long-term, and lifestyle and stress etc. Bill gates has millions (or billions, whatever) of Dollars and i read last year that he was spending $20 million (I think) on a house that floats on water! it can travel etc (I think) but the point is that when one has so much money, there isn't much else to spend it on. All one really needs in life is a place to live, food and water, heating (etc) and cigarettes and Beer (some of us Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! ). Most of this can be afforded by a regular job (if two people are living together the costs dont really go up that much, but any expenses are halved).
