By God someone has to do something about those witchy baboons, I don't think that we can just sit on our asses and pretend that they aren't a problem anymore.
"She said Neo was her only child and she hoped he would live because her other children died of natural causes before they reached one year." I wonder how many and how THEY died. :bugeye:
"Saomeng Phalatse of Sekhing said the whole episode boiled down to witchcraft, because it was unheard of that a baboon would eat a human being." Well, of COURSE babbons practice witchcraft!! DUH!!Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Didn't everyone see "The Lion King"? Rafiki??
Yes! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Maybe the baboon did it because the child was called neo.
There's room here for an Indiana Jones / irony reference here.... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
that must be fucking traumatising if it is true. i think its pretty crazy. im glad it wasnt my kid... or my baboon.
Ofcourse its true, there is nothing strange about it either. Primates often eat baby animals alive because they are opportunistic feeders and they have hands that won't necessarrily kill something when they grab it. I've seen it happen many times and it is gruesome, they eat small animals like fruits. They'll take a bite and then look around innocently chewing while they have something kicking in their hands. This one managed to get its hands on a human baby so we take notice but its normal behaviour. Spurious: I've never seen bears picking out fish brains but I have seen how they get the eggs. They catch them, put them on a rock and then stomp on them to make the eggs squirt out so they can lick them up. Bears are very interesting animals, they have so many different behaviours and are alot smarter than some people realise.
Weren't you paying attention? They died of natural causes. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
What I am wondering is: Does witchcraft practicing Baboons count as "natural Causes"? And what else can be considered "natural causes"?
