Instinct, natural, fundamental...to me, these words get thrown around a lot when discussing man, What is man's true instinctual/fundamental/natural nature/being/state? Conflict? Love? Curious? Survival? etc? How does a man/woman evolved from his/her original state extrapolate/speculate/theorize?? why can't he?

In my line of work I do a lot of “time travel” and visit communities that are sometimes still hunters and gatherers. I would say what unites them above all is curiosity. And general non-aggressiveness (!).
However, when you look up what happens to humans (or better what is said to happen to humans) who were brought up by animals you would probably think flexibility comes first.
You know Maslow’s pyramid? Look at the basis of it. There you would find what a “natural” human cares about first. Other steps come later.
