    Just to see where people are coming from, who here has been to the Middle East? I'll confess right here and now that I depend on what I hear on the news, and places like this, to form an opinion.

    I thought that the responses might help people understand where others come from on these issues. Let me know if you think the poll needs changing.

    Would like to certainly visit peaceful parts, maybe Egypt... I hear some cities in Israel are very beautiful...i'd also lik eto just be in the area, it is the birth of civilization as far as we know..

    I've never been there, but I DO have an opinion about what's been going on.

    Guess being human is all about leaping of the mind, beyond the borders of the body.

    First hand experience however,....I lack of that, so I have my opinion, but I should listen as an objective outsider.


    And judging your poll: we're all outsiders with an own opinion.

    I figure the entire middle east has rabies. Everyone wants to kill everybody else. I would be stoned as an infidel in less than an hour after my plane lands.
