The Glossolalia thread is mysteriously off-limits. Why is this?

....was it something I said ????

My last question was to be followed up with another question ...

If "Glossolalia" is considered by adherents to be a form of prayer ... it could be argued to be delusional ...shouldn't it be listed in the DSM IV ?

Since 90 % of the worlds population prays ...think of the profit that could be generated by labeling praying people !

This is a joke? I refer you to Spinoza and 100 + years of sociology, anthropology, and social psychology for a set of warnings and sanctions against this sort of thought.

But, yeah, it would generate revenue, sort of like made-up satanic abuse.

The question was to illustrate the hypocrisy present when "experts" concoct the DSM . Establishing what constitutes unexceptable behavior , stamping a medical name on it , and catagorizing people who engage in this behavior as suffering from a mental disorder ....seems to be more political than scientific .
