The name Julixa I chose because it is the name of my friend's daughter. My friend who named her daughter Julixa simply made up the name. She said it came to her either in a dream or during the day but it was definately original. I chose it because it is close to my real name, Julia Scalcione. My name is Italian. Julia means "youthful" and is obviously Roman or Italian, the feminine of Julius and Scalcione means "without shoes" apparently a reference to Moses' warning by the holy bush which warned Moses to remove his shoes while he spoke since he was "on holy ground."
