why should he/she rephrase , the meaning provided in the dictionairy is very illogic and implicates thing that could be becouse of peoples psychology , but that really rnt there in the word . Re-Search , means search AFTER u have searched , u have had to have done it one time before otherwise it would besimply search and not re-search . The meaning in the dictionairy is socio-psychological one and not a liguistical one , id think u c the relevance .
I guess they do it for empirical evidence. If the results are stable and consistent then it could be set in stone..or atleast put into practical use it if has the implications of such..this is especially true in field of psychology.
that actually makes sense , and gives a bit meaning to the implication of the word . My first guess was the only reason to search dor something AGAIN would be if u lost it .Searching for the already know seems silly , but in an epirical sense , its logical...search again so u have 2 instead of 1 .
