Has any viewpoints changed about the DJ "Philosophy"

Jean Baudrillard goes very deep into seduction in 'The ecstacy of communication'. He writes very (very!) deeply about it and while many will not continue the reading (I didn't finish the book), what is written is the truth. It is about seduction in everyday life through life itself and in advertising and especially post-modernism (If I remember correctly).

I've just looked into 'Don Juanism' and it seems wrong to me. That is no way for people to progress.
