Cant say ive ever heard of this but i could believe it cause Chinese women used to binde their feet to make them go mad shapes and also, aztecs used to bind their heads so they would go weird shapes too. People, Circe is correct. It's a hoax. They photoshop the cats, and it just isn't real. Even the human society will tell you that. I had a friend who thought that it was real. She got all cocky and said "WTF makes you think your right?" I sent her a link that was on cnet. It's one of the greatest internet hoaxs ever. The fact that people still get fooled by it is hilarious.
THat has to be one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen in my life as an avid animal lover I completely disagree with such a horrific practice, and becasue I am so imaginative I am picturing that poor creatures existence within a glass jar.
