Is anyone else fucking sick of everyone telling you to become a veg? In my science class they are making us do a whole lab with the message "become a vegaterian." A guy in my communication class is going to do an informative speech on vegaterianism. A couple of weeks ago Time did a story on vegaterianism.

I can understand warning people about the dangers of a low-plant diet, but quit trying to take away my meat.

    meat!

really the important thing is eating healthy. you can eat meat and do that at the same time. some "vegitarians" atually eat some meat. wich makes them not vegitarians, just poeple who eat well.

*Runs her teeth over her incisors*

I'm a omnivore, damnit, that's what I evolved to be!

It strikes me as bizzare that anyone would claim a veggie diet to be best for a human, given as we evolved as omnivores.

Personally, I don't understand (but I have a theory) why people feel so threatened by vegetarians. People, even strangers, are always attacking my vegetarianism. Being a vegetarian is a personal choice made by me for personal reasons. Eat your meat and leave us alone

I'm not angry at vegetarians by any means. I respect them and I wish I had that self control. But like xev said we are omnivores and I need meat. I'm sorry but I do. It tastes too damn good.
I hate vegetarians that "only eat fish". You are doing much more harm than a well balanced meat eater. There isn't THAT many more fish in the sea.

I have nothing against vegetarians. I just don't know why they feel they must try to shove their tastes down our throats.

i went to a cooking demo the other day where the women was a vegan

first off she had SURPOSEDLY done all this reserch on how vegans are better than normal eaters, (and i was LAUGHING when she said milk is bad for u and wondering where the ostioparosis foundation was) and then she said a Big mac with people u love is better for u than eating well with people u hate

why does the US keep exporting fruit cakes?

PLEASE stop sending us morons like this

i can sort of understand why people would say eroup's meat and the US meat because its all grain feed but PLEASE dont come here and tell us that lean meat isnt good for u in moderation

I meant milk is meant for baby cows, baby cows actually might be meant for us, makes more sense than eating grown up cows, but I dare you xev to watch one playing in a feild from behind a bush, sneak up to it and jump on its back knocking it too the ground, then clasp it in your jaws and hold your mouth over its nose and mouth untill it ceases to breathe. All while avoiding its mother.
    Could you do that?
If you could make yourself do that(or would enjoy doing it) I take my challenge back and challenge you to find the nearest assylum and stay there ... please.

I don't think I could clasp its neck in my jaws. Can I just shoot it instead?

And duh, milk is meant for ice cream.

Most vegetarians that only eat fish are doing it for health reasons. It tends to be called a Mediterranean diet. Fish provides OMEGA 3, which most Americans do not get enough of. It has nothing to do with the number of fish in the sea.
