My brother-in-law gave me a Thinkpad i-series. It is old 32 Ram, 500mhz, 6 gig hard drive. It is running 2000 Professional and was apparently a network computer. That is the problem we do not know the old administrators password so many things are blocked i.e. installing/uninstalling, settings etc. I would just as soon remove 2000 and run something like ME. I only want this computer to use ACT or Outlook contacts on. Do you have any suggestions as to how we can make this laptop useable?
