    Okay there's a few different ones on the market, there are many more. What you should take into consideration other than cost is that a VIDEO adapter is only the "Visual" range, which basically means it deals with the image only, usually you need a soundcard to work the sound.

    You can get cards that are compatible with each other which is a bonus as this means they don't have "Out-sync's" and look like somethings Dubbed.

    You should also note that some Standalone Set top boxes are now compatible with USB, so a Satellite/Digital box can actually be hooked to your PC with a bit of software and USB port/Hub.
