Can you elaborate on the problem?
    i.e.
Does it do this everytime she logs on?
Are the add contact windows of people that she knows?
And when you say noone was there, do you mean that there were no contacts existed or that no contacts were logged on?

yes it happens every time she logs on.
the contacts that come up are people that she previously had on her list.
there is no one there, as in they have been deleted, only not...
    you get me?

From what I can work out of MSN:

The Friends list is held on the MSN server, when you connect it re-issues the list to your MSN program, the problem must be along the lines of how the list is re-issued.

It's not loading as a list, but loading as people re-registering their contact info, at least that is how it appears.

The reason for it occuring could be to do with a change/update in how the friends lists are servered across from the MSN server.
(Possibly an update of MSN will counter the problem)
