and THIS time, I got caught...

I'm in college, damnit. So what if I've been drinking? I'm 18 - that should be good enough.

The "officer" (some fatass cop with nothing going for him in life - a pathetic waste of lack of potential, the kind you would expect to see win a Darwin Award) said to me that I could be cited for this infraction. Then he let me go. All a citation would mean is me going to an alchohol awareness meeting. I fail to see how this would help me to make the "right" decision next time. I had a lot of fun partying and danced with a lot of girls. The only downside to my drunkeness is possibly getting caught by the cops and having to deal with the law, which obviously does not care about me as a person, but as a statistic. I'm just one more underage adult who was caught drinking - or drunk, rather, since I had no alchohol on me or around me when they found me.

Comments? I'm drunk right now - let's see how this looks in the morning.

I usually found that things looked different the next day. If I could recommend anything to you, it would be to drink less. I am not saying don't drink. I am saying do it slow, eat, and enjoy it.

When it involves a car and driving the concequences will be stiffer. You do not need that to live with as it will remain an outrageously expensive tab for a long time that affects your life.

I will not tell you do not drink, as I don't think at this stage in your life you would listen. So go slower. It is not the one passed out that walks away with the lady. Nor is it the one that is passed out that will be able to tell what was going on or how good things were. Drinking in moderation will help you a lot as opposed to just getting wasted.

Thanks for the advice, wet1 - I shall drink in moderation next time (so the cops won't catch me either! hehe)

Try brewing some of your own stuff. Once you see how hard it is, I expect your appreciation for the flavor itself willl grow. Hopefully that might reduce the amount...

I usually go for quality rather than quantity.

I just finished brewing my own neutral alcohol and wow is it good.
It does have a bit of an off flavor, and a carbon treatment should
help with that in the future but for now, mixing with juice is good
enough ;)

Yeah i agree with Wet 1. Drink as much as you like as long as you can handle it.I think what counts is the state you get in not what you drink. Who looks the worst: the guy who has 6 pints, comes out of a pub/club puking and cant walk/talk properly or the guy who has 12 pints but can still walk round and get on with people ;) Its not what you drink but the state you get in.Only drink as much as you can handle. i know its hard when your younger because it takes some adjusting: i have been puking out of upstairs windoes when my parents have had parties but not i come in at 3:00 in the morning and can have a conversation with someone if theyre still up. I usually have a couple of cans left in the fridge too ;) As for the cop and your age well if thats the law you should be careful. You dont really stand a chance fighting against that. it wouldnt surprise me if this was part of americas problem of kids going out and shooting poeple i.e. theyre frustrated because even after they've left high school they cant go out and drink for another 5 years!!?? Imagine going out to do a hard days work and not even being able to have a few beers when you get back!! :bugeye: Id go mad too. Maybe this encourages the turning to 'illegal substances' which can be obtained. Id say just watch yourself Phrenetic.just take it steady. That way the cops might not even notice youve been drinking :)
i know people whove brewed theyre own stuff Solidus and they said that 1 pint knocks you on your back lol  :D I was going to brew my own but i cant afford it :bugeye: lol

Here's a good tip: When you get good and drunk, make sure you DRIVE HOME REALLY FAST, before any cops can catch up with you. Just in case you do get pulled over, PRETEND YOU'RE REACHING FOR A CONCEALED WEAPON--this will probably frighten the police and make them run away. If you regain consciousness the next day, call your lawyer and explain how you were "overserved by an unscrupulous bartender," and always remember to clean any blood and hair from your bumper, fenders, etc.
