Hello, I am currently reading a journal article on ethnic attitudes in relation to ethnic pride and ethnic differentiation. The article uses specific psychological abbreviations that I am currently unaware of. Hence my need for assistance. The abbreviation is *SD*. Here is an example of the abbreviation in the text: "1. The first and largest subsample consisted of 142 Estonians living in Estonia(269 women, 165 men; age range = 13-84 years, M = 52.0 ***SD*** = 21.7)." A further example is: "2. The second subsample consisted of 57 Estonians living in Sweden(33 women, 24 men; age range = 20-84, M = 51.0, ***SD*** = 20.0)."

Anyone in the know, know what SD stands for?

Personally I think the world would be a much more peaceful place if everyone just ignored their own genetics. I never felt where you came from mattered, only that you are here.
