A half beer, half soft drink is called a shandy. In Australia it is (or was, until all the girls started buying those colourful bottled drinks) a drink for ladies.

"Shandy" isn't the term I was looking for, but I'll keep that in mind. It's kind of a good name for a girly drink. Maybe the poofs up here should start drinking those instead of cosmos. They'd save so much money.
