"A 12-year-old child prodigy has astounded university professors after grappling with some of the most advanced concepts in mathematics.

Jacob Barnett has an IQ of 170 - higher than Albert Einstein - and is now so far advanced in his Indiana university studies that professors are lining him up for a PHD research role.

The boy wonder, who taught himself calculus, algebra, geometry and trigonometry in a week, is now tutoring fellow college classmates after hours."

    Poor sod.
    What's the bet he's burnt-out and forgotten by the time he's 18?

    Re the video.

Someone should let the dog in, he's cold.

Although generally it is true, he is doing what he enjoys, and what more can you ask for???

They will probably get him to design new bombs or weapons of destruction or be part of the Wall Street crowd making billions with new ways of defrauding the people out of their money.

Just for the record, there are many levels of Aspergers - and that's just one of Dwayne Rabon's problems. One of the usual symptoms is an OCD with numbers/math.

I've known two other men with it, one for 9 years, abut neither of them show any real special abilities. They just try to reduce everything to numbers - like ranking food, fun and everything else on a scale of 1 to 100.

Sorry, that just had to have been cute coming out of a 12-year old.
    Bet he'll do it, too.

As I've been given to understand aspies, what they're enthusiastic about they are REALLY enthusiastic about, as in he won't let go of that until he's got it.
