The writer can go to hell, he looks like he spends most of his time in the bath houses. All of the items this snob picked as bad, looked tasty. The alternatives sounded like they came out of central planning guide book.

The food may be tasty, but to put nearly 8 grams of sodium in an entree shows a complete disregard for human health.
Comparing it with another notoriously salty food, cornflakes.
That's the same amount of salt as you would get in an extra large pack if you ate all 30 servings at one sitting.

    By worst, he means unhealthiest.

    I love spam...

Of course, that crap will kill ya..But, who wants to live forever?

If you look up sodium in the dictionary, it says, see SPAM...LOL

I've never ever seen any of his food items or have I seen people at the check out lane buying them.

If you love spam, you should try a fried spam sandwich.
    It's spamelicious.

I'm not against salt, or spam, but 8 grams of sodium is an enormous amount.
Try weighing it out on a kitchen scales. It will make a big pile.
If you cooked your own food, and added salt after cooking, you wouldn't use more than a gram a day. It would taste far too salty.

If he really means sodium, and not salt or monosodium glutamate, then you can double the size of the pile.

I've never had a fried spam sandwich..

But, I do fry it, and have it with scrambled eggs though..With onions and peppers.

It's gotta be bad for ya..But, it tastes good.

Lutefisk for those not aware of the dish. It is dried fish soaked in lye. It is a traditional dish in Nordic countries and nordic immigrants to the US.

Have you ever tried that Nordic fish dish which has such a vile smell that it must be opened outdoors?

The one I'm talking about isn't dried fish, it's rotten fish.
The Thais like something similar to the dried fish you mention.
Yes it's stinky, but it wouldn't make you vomit.

I think the grossest thing I ever ate, was in the Philipines..

They call it Balut..It's a fertilized duck egg..

You crack it open and there's a friggin' duck embryo in there..

You pour a little vinegar on it, and eat it whole...Beak and all...Man, that was aweful.

I know you were in the Navy too...I assume you've been to the P.I...

If so, I'm sure you've either tried it, or at least heard of it...Right?

Just thinking about the stuff is making me nauseous..
