I realized today that I really want to read about experiments in human psychology. Not the old ones that I learned about in high school psych that everyone thinks they are so clever for remembering, but new experiments. On interesting and relevant topics. Ideally this would be a fun book to read that doesn't feel like a text book. Any recommendations?

Holotropic Mind (there are others too) by Stanislav Grof. Easy enough to read, and the information is interesting.

All my psychology books you'd probably find boring. There a bit techinical about clinical issues.

On the web, there are very interesting psychology talks on TED, and presented in quite an entertaining fashion.
