I've always said that something tragic is going to happen during Baracks Presidency. According to Republicans, they only way to function as a nation is to allow them to be our dictators. And they have no problem with inciting violence against others who don't harbor a similar view.

I consider myself conservative on most issues. I don't remember killing anybody. Generalizations...

I'd like to see your references for this statement (seriously).

It is not a matter of whether you are "liberal" or "conservative." There are a growing number of conservatives in the Democratic Party because the GOP is so unbelievably full of jerks. Unless you are extremely keen on dicking over gay people's rights, which I think is the only thing that wouldn't really fly well with most Dems, then I don't see why having conservative views on things suddenly means you can't see a bunch of jerks for what they are.

But seriously, it is not people like you who seem reasonable at first brush. The people being referred to are those who showed up in Florida and the VP's home in 2000 yelling and screaming...who subsequently turned out to be Republican Party staffers. It was a technique that worked in 2000 and now they just keep doing it until it no longer works.
Look the violent events this last year, the spitting, name calling, the vandalism of this last weekend. There is no good reason for the hate speech that has been spewn in a never ending stream from the likes of limbaugh, hannity, levin, beck, et al. There is just no excuse. These people live and thrive on hate. It gets people angry enough to continue listening to their programs so they can sell more goods and make more money. The cycle needs to stop. And we need to start treating each other as neighbors and brothers and sisters rather than the enemey.

What did they think would happen when they equated health care reform with socialism, nazism, marxism, and other ideologies that sometimes led to mass murder when carried to extremes? They are preaching to a choir that is fearful, religiously fundamentalist, apocalyptic, undereducated, and well armed.

More incitement of violence that lead to another Doctor being murdered.

And lets not get into the hundreds of other domestic terrorist attacks by Republicans against Doctors.

This is the climate of your party, it's ugly, nasty, and very un American.
