I think the deception is intentional. This is just more of the same, say anything, do anything to scare people. Why because when people are scared they do stupid things and become a lot easier to manage.
In the long run the bill will control people- you guys don't realize it now because its not so obvious- but from an economics point of view (with our current financial liabilities) this will end up being somewhat true- although not for the same reasons- the Republicans are using a scare tactic- the bill doesn't control people as written, IMO- but in the end it will for economic reasons thanks to our other liabilities. Just like how wars will control people for economic reasons. So I say let's cut down on the wars, fund healthcare, and then assess the level of control we end up with.

Obviously the Democrats are going to implant microchips in your brain, take away your guns, spit on your bibles, make lampshades out of your aborted fetuses, outlaw your pickup truck, ban the pledge of allegiance, end tax exemptions for churches, revoke Wall-Mart's corporate charter, unionize everyone, legalize pot, and subsidize trial lawyers.
