The reasoning is that there are some insurance companies out there that offer plans covering women's health, including abortions if needed. If the government offers a subsidy to a low-income individual to get healthcare, then they argue that the governmnet is then paying for abortions. So essentially they want to stop women from getting abortions by keeping the government from helping people get insurance. Well, under their reasoning, we should therefore refuse teachers the right to have an insurance policy that covers abortion. After all, they are being paid by the government, therefore any dime they spend on having an abortion amounts to taxpayer money paying for abortions. It's nothing but a sleazy, under-handed way to obstruct women's rights. The pro-lifers are just as immoral as they have been since the get-go. Seriously, I have talked to some of the pro-lifers in my area, and they are real "ends justify the means" types. All pro-lifers are.
