Northwind 07-21-02, 12:20 PM They both suck. Pale, lowbrow imitations of Middle-earth. Alpha 07-22-02, 10:32 AM In some ways their better than JRR Tolkiens novels. Just because they are classics doesn't necessarily mean they're better. Gifted 07-22-02, 04:36 PM They are worlds developed by companies. There are going to be differences, considering that Tolkein didn't exactly design Middle Earth for role-playing, like Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms are. Alpha 07-23-02, 11:15 AM Everything's going to have differences. I was just thinking of them as stories with well developed worlds. I wasn't thinking of the fact that dragonlance is part of the roleplaying scene. I just think they're better stories. |
