is it possible to access multiple proxy servers ? i mean if there are say 5 proxy servers, i connect to one of them, and if tht one goes down, IE shd auto connect to other one and if tht one goes down too, then IE shd connect to third one and so on...

i searched on the forums and also on net, but didnt find any readymade script or any proggie tht would do this.

i aint even sure whether this is the right place to post. so an AIA (Apology in Advance :p ), if this isnt the right place.

bye, TIA.

hey, is there any ip-spoofer, which will change the ip at random intervals without restarting the pc. ?

not with you. you wish to change your IP? how will this help if your traffic is proxied.

you might get a new one by releasing and renewing your dhcp lease with your isp

as u have already noticed, i need to correct my fundas.

...so changing ip aint possible without restarting the pc, IF i m using a proxy.

..wat if i aint using a proxy ? like, if i m accessing net directly , then is it possible ??

your isp assigns your ip address. if you change isp, you get a differnt ip. if you dial up, you get a different ip each time. if you use adsl or cable then you may get different ip, but not guaranteed

if you access the web through a proxy, then mostly, remote servers think you aer th ip address of the proxy. if you access the net directly they see your true ip address. if you use a proxy, that proxy may tell the world wht your ip address is. it is at it's ow discretion

there is an "anonymous proxy" option in Multiproxy.

so, wat is an anonymous proxy, i mean it doesnt even know MY ip address or it hides my ip address to the world like any other normal proxy ?

forces MP to use only proxies that are detected to be anonymous. some proxies relay your ip, for logging purposes etc. you can buy the use of a [proxy that anonymizes.. www.anonymizer.com is one, i think. search for others. if youre doing this to get unbanned from a web board, its usually not really worth it.. just dont act like so much of a four letter word in future :)

lol, k.. well

i used MP onceover cos my transparent proxy, operated by NTL, was being seriusly dumb, so i got the entire list of NTL prxies (applies to only uk NTL customers) and multiproxied them all to retore a working net connection.. never bothered with the anon side of things, cos i dotn really do that much troublesome stuff on the net
