i have been noticing regualry the ammount of abuse that is directed between members on this forum mostly because they dont understand each other. of course this is not the only reason for verbal abuse some people just enjoy it. i am guilty of it myself and i have to confess that sometimes i find it all hilarious.

my plan for this thread is to collect some of the abuses on this forum as a kind of out-takes photo album of verbal abuse.

if anyone notices any particularly funny, rude, malicious, or simply derogatory verbal jousting. post them here. with the name of the perpetrators.

i expect this thread is going to be cesspooled swiftly but i will give it a try any way.

I should have made that clear, but I assumed it was a given. I don't think my strategy is hopeless. After all, SouthStar came here as a rampant christian, and I didn't let up on him. Look how far SouthStar has come today! I certainly don't take all the credit for SouthStar's deconversion, but I was persistent, and maybe I had a minor influence on him. It's worth the anger to help them see the light.

I remember! I was actually wondering what happened to SouthStar...his posts are most certianly different.

If it encourages one person to take a step back and realize what they are taking part in and then moderate their behavior then it will be a success to me.

But to think that it would change the nature of these boards would be naive in the extreme. There are just too many people here who are full of hate and arrogance derived from fear and pride. Just read some of MW's posts in this thread. ;)
