Sorry, I want something in it with real meat and real vegetables. That means homemade!! One of my personal favorites is River Stew. I make it on canoe campouts and have probably had at least a hundred people try and capture the secret of an excellent soup. It's those "secret ingrediants" that get them every time. You see, I bring them premixed in an envelope and tear the envelope and dump the contents into the pot...Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! (I also come with the veggies and meat precut) Add to it a fine cobbler premade in a dutch oven. Then what ever someone else contributes makes for a fine meal.
I wasn't going to post anything here ever again for a bunch of reasons, but.....sheeeesh...when people don't include the classic tomato soup in such an importan poll...well...how can I just sit quiet? I can't, can I? Oh sure, tomato soup falls into the veggie/no meat-cathegory...but that just isn't good enough, is it? It deserves more than that (oh, yes, it does!) "Mer 'matsoppa' åt folket!" to quote my li'l sister Sunshine.
Definitely cream of potato soup, no garlic, with some pepper sprinkled on top and stirred into it. And then while it's still piping hot, dipping some wheat bread into it and eating that first. Mmmmm...
every single christmas my nan cooked us her homemade tomato soup and by god it was so declious. The way you dipped your bread was so..i mean the texture was just right and there it was a round bowl with grampa tomato soup Damn i wish it christmas now screw the present and the party wait don't screw the party just the present i just want that Soup Kupo
