The Model of the World of Vacuum 2005 May 04
... Einstein was wrong ...
"Moreover, as one knows, the brilliant ideas of GRT still are 'beloved corn' of whole contemporary physics: it creates a lot more unanswered questions than delivers explanations. Then on page 10 referring to his own 'Vacuum Theory', which is totally untested and unsupported he makes the following comparision: 'That is the statement, which sounds as an ultimate strong and simple (Does it sounds like some statement from the Bible, does not it?) ...'" In PDF format.

Ha!
Congratulations, Mac.
I don't exactly have any confidence in your Unikef, but this is too funny.
Wonder if he'll show up here to defend his non-crankness?
Ha!!
Hee hee.
Chortle.

What is the difference between this, and Einstein in his days claiming Newton was all wrong, while Newton was clearly tested and supported by many?

I don't recall Einstien comparing his work to words of the Bible. :D
Einstien couldn't accept the possibility of singularities cause they didn't mesh with his idea of a God. Einstien also didn't like quantum mechanics, cause as you know, God don't play dice.

Are you then calling Einstein a Crank?

Are you then calling Einstein a Crank?
The only difference between what most consider a crank and what most consider a genius is the fact that the contributions of the latter are widely accepted.
What is the difference between someone labelled eccentric and someone labelled genius?
While I am not at all in a position to judge any theories related to physics, you cannot simply claim some theory is crap because it contradicts all that has been said before.
While most of the crank.net stuff is probably crap, it is almost certain that it contains some serious stuff, worth considering.

MacM, how exactly is this Yuriy?
That scrotal logo (http://www.minescience.com/vol_8.htm) is amazing.

how exactly is this Yuriy?
Yuriy is brilliant, but it is sad to see him listed in crank.net, it would be a real test for him to get rid of this label.

Brillant? Perhaps. He was indeed knowledgable but he also advocated non-mainstream ideas of his own but took extreme offense of any others that did the same.
That is in his mind only his alternative views were valid. The rest of us were Cranks. :D
For example I couldn't express my concerns about SR but he could claim GR was "corn".
