What's your favourite moment in comedy film?

Mine is from Russian film ОСОБЕННОСТИ НАЦИОНАЛЬНОЙ РЫБАЛКИ (The Peculiarities of National Fishing).
It's about Russian military men going fishing, but they get lost while boating and land Finland.

The whole film is a blast, but what grabs me most is when they leave Finland and then notice that they have left many boxes of vodka behind.
They talk a Russian Navy captain into lending them a mini-spy submarine in which they go to Finland and steal back vodka, but then are noticed by local police which had arrested the owner of the bungalo they had stayed at for contraband vodka.
One policeman manages to attach 2 ropes to the submarine and they supposedly are caught.



Captain (clutching his teeth): We are running out of fuel! Pour in the vodka in the tank or we won't get away!
Military 1: Vodka? There?
Captain: There!
Military 1: What are you?! That is vodka! Lova?!
Lova (military2): Wait! What, does your boat run on vodka?
Captain: It runs on anything that burns, pour!
Military 1: Lova?
Military 3: Better without vodka, but free, than in the prison, but with vodka! Pour in you!
Military 1: Lova?
Lova: What, Lova? Go on!
Military 1 purs in the vodka with a very sad face.
Captain: Goes on my little one!
One rope snaps and the submarine takes with itself the floating dock (to which the second rope was attahced to), two policemen (who jump off) and local man.
Military1: On goes the 15th box.
Captain: Pour! We're going good!
Lova: Yes, sir...
Captain: It has never gone so well!
Military 1: I'd like to see in the eye that constructor who designed this engine...
Lova: Don't talk... The last one, Kuzmic.
Lova pulls out the perioscope: Hahaha, look, Kuzmic!
Kuzmic: Looks and laughs: Hey, captain, we're taking with ourselves a part of Finland with their citizen! Hahahaha

I 2nd that. The big nose part at the beginning, the gladiator fight, the part with the prisoner who liked torture, the part where Brian is chased by followers and jumps on the guy who did the silence vow, the part where all the soldiers laughed at the roman commander... :)

Not from a film, but it is a great comedic section of an awesome videogame (GTA: Vice City).

My favorite comedy momento has to be a movie by Jerry lewis, where he was carring a cart of milk like a drunk. I saw this seen when I was about 7 years old and I laughed I started crying. My second favorite was when I was high with two of my friends once, we laughed for 2 hours straight for no reason.

The scene in "A Fish called Wanda' where Kevin Kline (Otto) has Ken(Michael Palin) tied up and is eating chips, wondering what would go well with his chips...in exaggerated, poncy, plum in mouth English he says " wait a moment!', then proceeds to eat Wanda. I just cracked up. Thought it was huge.

Another scene that broke me up was in Wallace and Grommet's "the wrong trousers" where Wallace is fast asleep in the Astronaut duds being flopped around like a fish as the pants walk up walls and through things.
I really love Wallace and Grommet, the subtlety amidst the slapstick is priceless. Grommets infinetissimal eyebrow raises at Wallace's antics can reduce me to a heaving mess. Apparently you like them or you don't, When I lost the plot watching the wrong trousers, i was on holiday with my kids and nieces and nephews and extended family, my hysterics set everyone else off and we cakling like chooks, meanwhile Uncle ray was completely unfazed.

Mike Myers silhouette scenes in "the spy who shagged me" and " Goldmember" were absolutely hysterical also.

Rodney Rude, the Australian comic is best known for his smutty and coarse humour but to see him live is to realise the extent of his comedic genius, the guy is as sharp as a tack.
His long winded ramble about visiting England which concludes with our Rodney backdooring Her Royal Highness in the back of the royal Daimler was ridiculously funny, I had sore stomach muscles for a week afterwards.

I like Lifted (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zhmUE4e6Yc). No speaking, just physical comedy, and it cracks me up.

And then there is the Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd opera bit.

Some of the things that go on in here really crack me up as well....:p;)

favourtie comedy moment by far is the end of 'RED DWARF' Episode 'QUARANTINE'........Rimmer has the holo virus but doesn't realise it....
