Some quotes I have, most on love tho...can't seem to find my others...

Some things can only be seen…when you’ve lost everything

"Time is too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice,
but for those who love, time is eternity."
    Victor Hugo

When you realize you want to spend The rest of your life with somebody,
You want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

We all want to fall in love. Why?
Because that experience makes us feel completely alive.
    Where every sense is heightened,
    every emotion is magnified,
    our everyday reality is shattered
and we are flying into the heavens.
It may only last a moment, an hour, an afternoon.
But that doesn't diminish its value.
Because we are left with memories
that we treasure for the rest of our lives.

There's only us, there’s only here, Give in to love, or live in fear. No other road, No other way, No day but today

Love is just a word but you give it meaning

The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return

Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for

I'm just a guy who loved the woman you're supposed to be

We attract hearts by the qualities we display; we retain them by the qualities we possess

Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired

I read this yesterday and liked it and thought i'd share it:

They were both shy. When Medra took her hand his hand shook, and Elehal turned away scowling. Then she touched his hand very lightly. When he stroked the sleek black flow of her hair she seemed only to endure his touch, and he stopped. When he tried to embrace her she was stiff, rejecting him. Then she turned and, fierce, hasty, awkward, seized him in her arms. It wasn't the first night, nor the first nights, they passed together that gave either of them much pleasure or ease. But they learned from each other, and came through shame and fear into passion. Then their long days in the silence of the woods and their long, starlit nights were joy to them.

It's great you have an opinion! Everyone's entitled to some...at least that's what they taught us at Cyborg School. I always wondered why they laughed maniacally after saying it, though.

    no- your oppinion counts.
I just can't understand , why you choose communism as your extreme. I really try, but can't figure that out.

Maybe because in my own country and what I have lived through , it would be the same as Jews praising Hitler and Nazism.

I actually held in my hand an order which stated that I must be transferred to the far north with my familyand when that order was given out, I was only 6 years old. That order was given out by communists.
    And they tried...

sorry- you just tore up old wounds
    I shut up

Actually from what i understand, communism in its ideal state is great. It's just that we have yet to see a country use communism in an ideal way, or even close to an ideal way.

But then, i don't consider America's current democracy to be anywhere close to being its ideal either. In the early days of America, perhaps to an extent... but certainly not now.

thank you for being so kind, i obviously dont know what i'm talking about when i say i like the theory and admire people such as lenin and che to try to put it into practice, like i said i dont know what i'm talking about, i'm under-educated and arrogant as some people have put it - these things that i have come to hate over the years, apply to me and i really dont like it at all. Did i say anywhere at all that i liked the things that stalin etc have done? no, its a grave misjudgment by many people on these boards, the done more harm than good and caused to waste so many human lives. This is all beside the point because this has nothing to do with this thread. I have even said i dont like all aspects of communism, c'mon, give me a break.
you cant say these things, because people will jump to the conclutions that they have judged me. my cause is lost so there is no point in me talking on political matters anymore.

I'm not going to pussy-foot around in what i say to try and avoid saying something that might unintentionally cause others to jump to the wrong conclusion. There's nothing you can do about that. If you want to avoid people jumping to the wrong conclusion, don't say anything -- and even then they might misinterpret your being quiet.

In my opinion, it wasn't communism that wrecked Avatar's country -- it was human ignorance, human greed, human power trips. And these things have perpetuated crimes through all forms of government -- some more easily than others, but all forms just the same. Considering all of the deaths that the American government has directly or indirectly caused in one form or another, i don't hear people saying, "Democracy killed those people." the way they'll say, "Communism killed those people." They might say, "America killed those people." but not democracy. And yet the American government has done this a lot, in supporting one side over another in other countries and giving them aid openly or covertly, because it suited the government's greedy power-hungry schemes. Not to mention other forms of mass murder that my government has perpetuated in one form or another, unbeknownst to the general American public.

    http://www.sciforums.com/f37/s/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9799

In 5th grade, i wanted to see all communists destroyed and wiped from the face of this planet -- and loudly proclaimed this to everyone. But now i think that if people understood communism in its ideal form as opposed to how it's manifested in countries up until this point in time, they wouldn't blame it so much or see it as being evil.

I won't tell much, but this one line is from mine and from very many other people's life experiences. and believe me- I know what I' m talking about

COMMUNISM DOES NOT APPLY FOR HUMAN NATURE

nothing more...it's an utopia...it can never come into reality as on the paper.

it is not suited for humans as we know ourselves
as we are, always have been
