I was watching the episode and was wondering...is it possible to build a sleepless human..may be alter his genetics or alter his brain etc.?
any ideas?

I've read that whales and the like literally sleep with one eye open. They only put half of their hemisphere asleep at a time.

New born dolphins and their mothers never sleep, not until the calves become juveniles.

Perhaps it would be possible to build a sleepless human, but I don't think he'd be very happy about it.
