I can't get an avatar. I have tried several that I have hosted on imageshack.us, but it says that the specified URL cannot be found or sumthing like that. Anybody have any suggestions?

Why can't you find an avatar that you like, save it to your computer, and then upload it to sciforums as an avatar? It will probably be too big, so just shrink it a little. That's what I did...

I just google ANIME AVATARS(or the selected anime of my choice) and click on the results that look the most trustworthy. Of course, if you don't want an anime avatar, then you can change it from ANIME AVATARS to ____your choice____AVATARS.

What I would like to know is where in the hell do I find avatars small enough for this site. Why do they have to be so small? Can't the limit be at least 50x50?

If you go advanced search at google you can choose to only find small images.
Some are still a little too big but most are about right.
