Any thoughts on this? Just ran across it today and I've never encountered an exercise quite like it before. I realize the semantics can get messy in any discussion involving intelligence but let's try to minimize those issues for the moment. Do you believe that it's possible to "increase your intelligence" or is it hardwired? You can play the game free here. I strongly suggest viewing the demo prior to attempting if you haven't seen this before. Quote is from same website and can be found here.
I also would very highly much like to increased my intellishness, but I find I can't remember what the thread is about. Is this the religion forum?
This is the wrong way to go. The average person doesn't want to be more intelligent- they want to be less intelligent. To market your product properly, you need to appeal to buyers wants. For example, look at the alcohol industry, they don't depict smart people, do they? When was the last time you saw a billboard with Hawking holding a Bud Lite? Yes, you can increase intellectual acuity but only in degrees and with effort. You can train your mind to recognize patterns better, but you cannot increase it to where you're like those autistic prodigy's. Most of the brain seems to be pretty hardwired, with the base human following more programming than actual conscious thought.
