Because I have someone to talk to.

In real life, I have no one to talk to. My days are all the same, wake up, bus, sleep on bus, arrive to college, classes with no free time, bus, sleep on bus, arrive home, study, sciforums, sleep...

I come to sci forums because I am an expressive personality and the company is so diverse and intelligent that I am challenged by it. It's fun, interesting, and the most "real" forum I have ever participated on. There doesn't seem to be the overt typical clique mentality here either. I have encountered what could be considered an idealogical clique, but to me that's a healthy minded clique and more so a consensus than a social phenomenon.

It's cool and yes, I have learned a GREAT deal. This is the first forum I have ever participated on where I came away with different perspectives and personal views than when I arrived. I am not talking about the strict sense of acquiring new knowledge that changed my mind either. That would be the dots and those are easy to learn anew and change. It's what's occasionally revealed to me here in the space between the connecting of the dots that has managed to alter some of my personal perspectives.

For me, there is the right amount of joking to serious ratio here too. It's a genuine place to hang.

All in all, it's GREAT therapy.
