Is there any reason for this mode to be used that I'm not aware of other than to frustrate me when I'm trying to figure out what people are up to under the 'who's online' section?

I know that some posters have had bad experiences with stalkers and old foes pissing 'em off, so for those scenarios I think it's a good thing, anyway what would ya do if you were invisible for a while?

Yep, it's true, I've had crazy girls stalking me, trying to get their dirty little hands on me. *sigh* If only they were a tad better at finding people...

Some people can't handle the embarrasement of letting others know that they live on the internet.

But for those in invisible mode, isn't your cover kind of blown once you post?

If you're sitting there trying to figure out what other people are up to on a message board, you've got way too much time on your hands. Perhaps a shift in priorities is necessary.

I'm downloading porn. There, now you know.

'Course I live in cyberspace. I'm a geek. Where else do geeks live?

See, Xev has got her priorities straight and is not simply sitting there contemplating my next move.

Okay, so I over-stated. I am doing a bit of research into modelling human figures. I did come across something resembling porn.

Proposal ? Did you propose marriage to Banshee or a stock portfolio ?

I proposed marriage to the Q but Banshee deleted it for being off-topic.
