Terry Pratchett, he's absoloutly amazing, i wonder...have any of you guys read any of the 'discworld'?Its fantastically funny, based on 'real-life', he cleverly takes the piss out of society today. Anyone else a fan?

Pelecanos for his grasp of street culture, Ben Elton for his humourous excursions into current topics and that woman who is always writing about this female pathologist in her murder thrillers, I can't remember her name.

Robert B. Parker. (George Pelecanos is pretty good, too, but his novels are always loaded down with all that philosophical/psycho-babble bullshit.)

    Samuel White Baker.
19th century english gentlemen, dog lover and keen sportsmen.
He likes to whip indians when they run him afoul, and he hates the french, satisfactory chap allround I'd say.

Oh, sorry... I'm just waiting for you to edit that last post into something that makes sense.

What? Are you satisfied with that? Checked it over and thought you'd just move on to another topic?

    Oh... well, this is awkward...

Nice poll. Very broad choice to pick from.

I think I will go for 'other'.

I've always liked other for his ability to express that he is not one of the guys on the poll.

‘Other’ does make it to an exceptionally large number of Polls. However, have you ever noticed he is always at the bottom? I think that tells us a lot about him!
