The thing that bothers me most about Hillary is that I do not know who owns her interests and talents. Is it special interests as represented by the lobbyists that she has defended on numerous occasions or is it the people of the United States? I noticed her husband did not even mention healthcare after the special interests started vocalizing against changing the healthcare system in the United States. So who owns Hillary, lobbyist or the people? Based on history, I, unfortunately, think it is the lobbyist special interests. Also, according to the latest financial filings, her husband makes millions of dollars a year from special interests, getting 200k-300k per speech and she has received more money than any canidate for office from special interests.

Big businesses own every politician here in America. If you don't believe me then your only fooling yourself. She is a great con artist.

why dont you try to clean up your Politics? If the country paid for a campain and you made it illegal to recive donations then this problem would at least lessen

That's a great idea but it won't happen because big businesses won't allow it to happen. They won't stand still and let their puppets not win, big businesses would always find ways of supporting their canditates somehow.

well thats what happens here, not thats its compleatly perfect. The AEC pays partys and individual canditates a certain amount of money to pay for there election campaines. Yes donations are still alowed all though they have to be registed on a public list, so at least you can find out who has a conflict of intrest. Would be better if they were banned but *shrugs*

My idea is that you elect anyone who wants to run but then they must only be allowed to write the bills but the common people would be the ones to vote upon what those bills do. If the common person doesn't like what is being written then the elected officials would have to re-write the bill until the majority of people agree the way it is written. I'd also make it that no bill could exceed 2500 words and they would be on a 8th grade spelling level so everyone could understand it. Those bills would be on public TV, and in the newspapers to read, then voted upon every week over the telephone, or by computer.

Who owns East Korea?

Me! But I only have it on lease from a Running Dog Dutch-Finnish type person. He refuses to sign the rent book. Typical Netherlands type.

Can you really believe that she is on our side when she cries on TV and says this is really personal, given her current and historical ties to special interests? I am looking for a Hillary supporter to tell me why that is not the case.

Because I'm unnecessarily damaging the serious discussion about who owns Hillary Clinton?

I do apologize.

I thought I might throw this out there.

My senses tell me Hilary is going to win.

Not that I take sides, I never take sides.

Kind of silly question, she is owned by the same interest then ALL of the other candidates except for Kucunich and Paul....

So there is no reason to single her out...

She IS all that liberal. She's just pandering to get votes. She is a chameleon. She will be whatever you want her to be. :(

That reminds me a lot of what I've been hearing about Romney.

Nah. Romney's just a really good businessman who could make some major improvements to the country. But he's a Mormon so he may not win. I don't see him denouncing his Mormonism anywhere or pretending to be something he isn't.

He also is a good con artist, telling people what they want to hear.

The Clintons, either of them, are and have always been rightwing, conservative, authoritarian, corporate oriented politicians.

They fought single-payer health care, when it had a chance. They brought you NAFTA, GATT, MAI, free enterprise zones, and so forth. They did not go to the wall to head off the dotcom bubble or the enabling Republican Congressional legislation and manuevering.

W is not "Right" to the Clinton's' "Left", or "Conservative" to the Clintons' "Liberal". He's lunatic fringe to the Clintons' mainstream.

The actual left has been pointing that out for years, now.
