Bill Clinton was a president of the United States, on the other hand George Clooney was on ER. Which one is more famous today?

Clinton is infamous. He stained the office of POTUS with his alley cat-in-heat behavior. He made us the laughing stock of the world.

But Disney's 'Aristocats' was a phenomenal success in the box office.

Weren't they laughing at us because such a big to-do was being made by some here over something they considered trivial ?

    I dunno. He's a joke. A pathetic joke. A national embarrassment...
How was his lying under oath trivial? How was his having sex in the White House with an intern trivial? How was his adultery trivial? How was the security breach trivial? How was his impeachment trivial? How was his getting disbarred trivial? HE is trivial. Now.

And innocent. What a waste of time while the war on terror was going on.

Innocent? Clinton? Nope. He did everything they said he did and more. He was too busy getting adulterous sex to pay attention to the terrorists right under his big, bulbous, red nose. He is a disgrace. There was no war on terror until W. Clinton had other, more important things to do...

And let's not forget that. This shitass scene is not Clinton's fault. Or Clooney's.

I'll bet W is more famous than Clooney, btw. The amnesia induction effect is not working as well outside the US.

I somehow doubt this had a great deal to do with it...

Now, if you were to say that his administration's efforts to restructure the manner in which US agencies processed/shared intel data hampered our efforts, perhaps you'd have something. I don't think what he was up to with his weenie was a factor, though.

Well, it was the product of devious, scheming adulterers - in part - so it must be suspect.

Simmons will flex his charity muscles on July 18 with the Art For Life Garden party benefit on July 18th in East Hampton. The auction and event benefits Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, the organization he founded with his brothers, Danny and Joseph Simmons, that connects disadvantaged youth with art programs. Held at the private East Hampton Estate of Russell Simmons, this evening will once again celebrate the creative energy of New York City youth and honor exemplary individuals in the community, including Vanessa Williams, at a star-studded dinner and gala featuring live and silent auctions of unique art and luxury items.

The online auction features the chance to join an intimate and private dinner where Bill Clinton will be hosted with 35 guests at Simmons’ private residence in New York on July 20. The others in attendance will be 35 of the most influential movers and shakers in America under the age of 35, part of the noted Summit Series. Past Summit Series attendees have included founders and top officials of companies as Zappos, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Trump International, as well as top entertainment personalities. An extraordinary vegan dinner will be prepared by world famous chef Tom Colicchio, head judge on Bravo TV’s Top Chef, and founder of NYC’s famed Craft restaurants.Other items include the chance to meet Deepak Chopra and Ice T, yoga lessons with Simmons, meet-and-greets with Third Eye Blind and Fall Out Boy, exclusive tickets to Coldplay, and much more.

Lol, In my country, people think more positively about Clinton than they do about Bush. I remember hearing that. I don't know the West, but in East and my side of the world, mostly, the event was considered as 'one incident slipping out from many, regarding US presidents'.

What a stupid way of looking at it.

    I agree .
Bill Clinton was better than G.W. Bush .
Democrats are always better than Republicans in my opinion .
Just read history to realize how damaging are the Republicans .

I get what you mean, but I didn't even look at it that way. I don't think those people who thinks Clinton is better than Bush know the difference between a democrat and republican. The war issue is out of this of course.

    Seriously.

Republicans tried to secede from the Union to preserve the institution of slavery. Oh...wait...that was the Democrats.

After losing the Civil War, Republicans implemented numerous laws to disenfranchise and otherwise mistreat black Americans. Oh...wait...that was the Democrats.

Republicans got us involved in WWI. Oh...wait...that was the Democrats.

Republicans did nothing while Hitler took over most of Europe and let Japan attack Pearl Harbor, killing many Americans. Oh...wait...that was the Democrats.

Republicans got us involved in the Korean Conflict. Oh...wait...that was the Democrats.

Republicans got us involved in Vietnam. Oh...wait...that was the Democrats.

Etc., etc., etc., partisanship, blah, blah, blah.

I'd sniff one of those cigars. Just to say I did it.

Personally, I think George Clooney is more famous. Not necessarily more important or more respected, but more famous.

    What's ER?

    Oh come on!
It wasn't solely Clinton that did that.
