I've always said it, now I see it. The US is a puppet of Israel.

They are literally buying our political leaders for their interests.

Godless.

Yes.

There is also, "The Saudis have hired three well-connected Washington lobbying and law firms to advance their case in the capital. One firm, paid $420,000 so far this year, is headed by former Rep Thomas Loeffler, a top contributor to President George W. Bush when Bush was governor of Texas and a major fund-raiser in Bush’s presidential campaigns."

Duh, everyone has lobbyists. From the Bow Tie Manufacturers to the National Association of Home Builders to The American Muslim Alliance.

I cant remember the figures, but politicians seem so easy to buy. a million dollars or so of campaign contributions, a few jobs for insiders, and hey presto, your saving hundreds of millions of dollars. I mean the competition for the gvt isnt exactly huge, so if i were there I would be demanding percentages of the payoff.

Hell it's the GOP, and we are going to party:

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/june2004/062904callgirls.htm

Our politial leaders are easy bait, they are not representing "American's interest, but their own pockets" and this is a wake up call!!. This year go out an vote, hell even a no contest vote will spoil bushe's chase of runing us to perpetual war.

However the problem is bigger than bush, it's the whole us government!. (just an opinion) just in case.

Nice second article, Godless. Thank you for posting that (and Alex Jones is always a good read). Yes, me thinks the US is going down, the only problem is that it may take a large portion of the planet with it.

What, there are no special interests on the left?

Please.

Pangloss, me thinks you are stuck in this "left" "right" shit. Maybe that is easier than thinking.

Did you notice you just addressed me by name? :-)

Slipping a bit there, old man.

I am, like, at a loss as to what you refer Pangloss but I am learning that what you say and what is need not be necessarily concatenated. Why not post some "special interests" that you consider as "left?" No, that was not your content or intent. You just decided to lay a couple of turds in here, so be it, I've seen worse in public forums. There is really no peer review going on at all so someone can come right in from left field when you least expect it. Did I say "left?" I did and it was in reference to you! Maybe you aren't as daft as you appear, you are possibly a wily communist sympathizing far left zealot who plays at the role of the bumbling neocon just to discredit their position. If so, good show!

I think it was Nader who said that he prefers Democrats because they are bought by a slightly less scary set of lobby groups.

Ban all political advertising on FCC regulated Media. It is not as if the political advertising was creating informed voters anyway. If somebody thinks they are informed from those ads they probably should not be allowed to vote because they are too gullible.

Everybody with money and a use for Congress is buying the Congress. The Supreme Court says giving money is free speach (unless you give it to Cuba) so we can't stop the bribers from buying the Congress but we can make the Congress less interested in being bought. Ban the political ads on TV.

There are special interest on the left and the right side, any funding group which give money to a politician or a political party can be clarified as a "special interest” group.
