They suffer the Slings and Arrows with other unadulterated unpleasantries from posting peers that are upset at their speedy terminations.

They have the nasty job of being able to ban which doesn't make friends of those banned. Their post was of great (but no lessening) importance when it was only Porfiry running sciforums since they pretty much continued the forums operation since moderators are limited in what and where they can do what they do.

Which in turn is far more than you probably needed to know, however sciforums staff/moderators I don't think have taken a vow of silence or anything.
