Is someone coaching him?

It couldn't just be that Russert was supposed to mention tax raises specifically and didn't so Brian Williams reminded him?

Oh, get real. That was clearly the voice of the Angel Moroni.

Hey, you guys saw the clip on the Daily show when posing for a picture with young black kids he started to bark? (who let the dogs out?). Priceless...

More reading on the issue. Here's a quote:

"Some have speculated that the whisper is a prompt for Russert to add on the rest of the question, "raised taxes," to what Russert said about Reagan, but listen to how incredibly fast the whisper comes after Russert finishes his sentence. Seems mighty fast to have been someone trying to get Russert to finish the question - how does the whisperer know that Russert is done? It sounds much more like a prompt for Mitt," wrote blogger Steward Rhodes.

This debunks all the conspiracy theories:

Romney is BRILLIANT and does NOT need ANY kind of prompting. He will probably be our next president. :)

This debunks all the conspiracy theories: Nah, too lame.

The only time that mic picked up any crowd whispers was just then ? And Romney didn't hear what he was wincing in synchrony with ?

The notion that someone was prompting Russert, rather than Romney, is more plausible if "conspiracy theory" needs debunking.

There are bigger conspiracies than that floating around, anyway. Softball questions, minimization of Paul, the usual liberal bias in a major media outlet - - -

There will always be conspiracy theories but why about this topic, I don't know. It's not like anyone even cares or watches these things. They're not as entertaining as watching the democrats character assassinate each other.

Not many are taking Paul seriously. He's just too weird. I'm waiting for him and Rudy to drop out and let the real contenders go for it.
