I still haven't heard the pilot say anything as yet, what's the delay this time? Anyone know why NOTHING is being said about the crash of U S Airways flight 1549 last week? No news about it today anywhere, it is like it has been brushed off the entire media.

Humorous, very humorous but where's the real recordings? Where's the interview? Where's the media hype?

Sorry but I couldn't hear what the passengers were saying because the Russian reporter was talking Russian over them to loudly.

I think I'm challenged enough thank you.

Where's the interview with the pilot and where's the recordings of the tower to pilot conversation?

You think an air crash is more important than a Presidential inauguration? Or a world financial crisis? Or the ongoing situations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine?
    Hmmm. You probably do.

Seems that was the only thing on the news last Wendnesday whemn it happened. For over 4 houirs we all watched them rescue the people and heard about there recovery. So where's the recording and the interview that the media and pilot pronised?Or are we being lied to once again, as usual.

Lack of death, and then there's the goddamned lawyers ....

Um ... nobody's dead? That really takes the punch out of the story.

MSNBC ran with it all day after it happened, but without corpses being fished out of the river, without grieving widows and scant glances of children moving ghostlike through their shock, there really isn't anything that grabs the viewer's eye.

In the meantime, it may be that pilot Sullenberger won't be giving many interviews. He's an experienced pilot who has also worked crash investigation for FAA, and I wouldn't be surprised if his lawyer didn't even have to tell him not to give interviews. He has some answers to give, and such as we hear about the crash, there's not much for him to worry about in doing so. Still, though, waiting to have your say, or even simply disappearing into the background might be the better alternative. Flip side includes a ghost-written book, a merchandising fad, and three tours of the daytime television circuit. If he's lucky, he and his wife will belong to a megachurch, and maybe he can get some work making commercials about "Take Your Pastor to Work Day". (Maybe that's just a local joke. Sorry.)

First time in history that two jet engines were struck at the same time by birds and quit! That's a real story to me.
