What can be done in such cases? What would be an appropriate justice?

Put the boys into a juvenile prison until they reach the age of adulthood, wherever they are, then try them for rape in a regular court. Or just try them as adults.

They need to be in juvenile. This isn't complex.

Juvi does not really work, it gives you connections to crime that you never even thought about commiting before and talk about bad company you couldnt send anybody to a worse institute than Juvi or Prison. Send them to a Shaolin Temple for 2 ears that will straighten them out. Or a hardcore military training compound.

    Peace.

Isn’t this suggestion a contradiction because the “offenders” are themselves children who aren’t old enough to know or understand the complexities or consequences so trying them as adults and locking them up is not only harsh but serves no greater good. I mean if I was to try to argue that an adult masturbating a 12 year old boy wasn’t wrong or caused any physical harm, even if everyone agreed that no actual physical harm came from such an act, everyone would still argue that a 12 year old isn’t old to consent or be able to fully understand the ramifications of sex or such actions or consent.

So if children are not old enough to drive, vote, or consent to anything including sex because they are not able to understand the complexities due to their age then even in these situations that the OP posted they shouldn’t be held to adult standards. You can’t have it both ways, even though many try to.

I am personally tired of all the double standards when it comes to children, we as a society our exploiting children when we try to criminalize their behavior at these young ages as if they were adults, yet criminalize so many actions that relate to children, like charging a parent with endangering a child if the child doesn’t have a seat belt on, or if a parent doesn’t school their child.

Today it is so easy to get charged with a crime when it comes to a child, just try spanking your child and you go to prison but let a 10 year old play doctor and we have a future serial rapist and treat the child as one, or let a child (12- years old) take a knife to school and we automatically treat them as a future career criminals, charge them with crimes as adults and then permanently label them criminals, ship them away to some shrink who we expect to take care of and solve all the child’s problems that a parent couldn’t and then basically treat the child as disposable trash and then wonder why when they are 16 they are so fucked up.

Parents need to be more in touch with their Childs development and involved in their lives, this can help prevent situations like this.

If it were my child that was the boy perpetrating the sex, I would have to handle the situation at the time but I wouldn’t be horrified or even mad at the child, concerned yes, as well as from law suits that result for these kind of things as most people want money for anything they think is wrong or unjust.

    :bugeye:

How do you know if it works or not?

And why would you wish to inflict them on Shaolin monks?

I have never been to juvi but even I know enough to know the criminal justice system doesn’t properly work.

All the criminal justice system does is warehouse people without any real treatment or rehabilitation, and what treatment they do provide severely lacks.

It's apparent that neither of these girls have older brothers because those 11 to 14 year old boys would probably be in ICU, or the ground right about now.
If someone ever did this to one of my little sisters, there would be permanent damage/suffering on their part, even if it meant jail time for me.

Wow. So much for impartial judgement.

I doubt all of them are hardened criminals. Some may deserve juvenile, others may not.

Well, depends on the crime they cause remeber that.....you cant say that a teen or so raped an 8 year old and the cops saying """"Well give you a warning, now run off you scamp""""" not gonna happen...

Yea but what if the you found out that your sister was one of the girls who “liked it” and wanted it, would you feel the same way if you discovered your sister was “easy”? I mean would you slap your sister around for being a slut, or just the boys who took advantage of her for being one?

Well my friend......she has to be messed up in the head....or......lives with bad parenting......or she just likes the fact that she is being tooken advantage of....and its not rape if she likes it.....

If that was the case, then she'd be on her own. But I'm pretty dang sure this isn't the case, and I'm pretty dang sure that any older brother that cared about their younger sisters wouldn't be thinking about that; their only priority would probably be to inflict as much pain on those boys as possible.

If she likes and enjoys it and seeks it out, then no it’s not rape. As for bad parenting or messed-up in the head, why would you say that if she or the boys enjoyed sex, it’s a natural and pleasurable thing?

This article says the boys forced the girl which then would be rape, and rape is wrong whatever the age. The article doesn’t go into details or if the girl changed her story after all the boys spread rumors that she was easy.

When I was young I remember boys trying this kind of stuff and talking about which girls were easy and fun to be with, even when I was 12 years old I was into the easy girls. If we knew a girl was easy we would take turns but today even doing that is considered rape and wrong even when the girl is a willing participant because those are just not things you do.
