I took photography all four years of high school. One of the only classes that I really passed. I took humanities, passed it because I loved to read. I loved my English classes, I passed all of them. I failed math, science, and physics all the time.

I never really cared for highschool so I never put anything into it. My teacher, my humanities teacher, who was really cool, gave me a list of banned books. I then read each and every single one of them. Starting with Catcher In The Rye. Which is a banned book in Kentucky schools.

I slept through most of high school. I guess thats why I was so "cool". Oh, and because Im more mellow then a high Willie Nelson.

I was like the worst high school student on the planet. I had SUCH a bad attitude. I thought "you can't make me learn this stupid crap" unless it was something that I liked, which there wasn't really.. except for a few things.... so I did very very poorly. I graduated at the 33rd percentile of my class. What a suckass bastard.

    3.3 - 3.6 or so...

I never studied, never paid attention: I really didn't want to be
there. I kind of regret not doing the extra work because I had to
take the advanced classes I skipped out on a bit later to enter
    my university program...

Why do you think most of you and most adults in general had that bad attitude about being in high school? Is there something that could be changed in the educational system to help stimulate students into wanting to learn?

    Grade Point Average

    I probably have between 3.2-3.7.

I should check. My attitude toward school is this: excel in sociology, english and do as well as I can in science and math.

sarge thats you "barely passing"?! well, lets wait for grades for THIS semester.... (tun-tun-tun!)
3.5 in HS, 3.7 in college.

In HS, i thought this: better excell in sex, math, and english, rest will come later. and so it has been. not too bad, i must say, didnt come out too stupid. But i took so many honors classes and got top grades in them, even AP music theory (why the hell/not)... eh.

Sarge, in a tete-a-tete conversation the other month: "shit, i was barely passing last semester!" said in context of mutual, well-known procrastination.
you come off as off-line on my aim... better unblock you. hm. dont send me that scary _____ __ ____ anymore please?!

I graduated with a GPA in the high 3.4s or low 3.5s, if I recall. My rebellious freshman year kept it from being much higher.
