Seem to be having some kinda attack...I'm producing massive amounts of adrenaline. Yeah, I know it's adrenaline, I fucking feel it pumping out. Pupils are huge, overheated all over, fine motor skills are shot. Just typing this post is taking ages because my hands are shaking and I keep having to correct mistakes. No, this is not from caffeine

    . I haven't had any since around 9am.

And I know this is immensely stupid and my 20 year old brain should know better, but I don't really want to get it seen to. I'm enjoying the effects. I feel like I'm immensely strong and could destroy anyone.

Hehehe. I've got kung fu class this evening...I kinda hope this thing doesn't dissipate. I have my very own performance enhancing drug inside me. Hahaha.

Yup, I am a huge, raging idiot. I should get medical attention, not be like 'Ooh, natural methedrine!!'

I had this and it turned out it was too much adrenalin. I was prescribed beta-blockers, to reduce the effects rather than because it was doing me any harm, so I didn't take them. It went away itself after a while... and unfortunately before I turned into the woman pictured above.

Are you taking any medications? Go and speak to your GP about seeing an endocrine specialist. While you're there have your T3/T4 TSH levels measured (blood test).

I'd guess there's a problem with your hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal gland axis. It's not likely you have a pituitary carcinoma at your age (any problems with your vision? If you have noticed a real deterioration in your vision [in a particular eye] go get a PET scan or better yet, MRI))

The feelings may be fine now, but, continued stress could take a toll on certain organs - such as your heart. Hyperthyroidism isn't heart friendly.

Lol @ "warrior" I did go take it all out on the heavy bag. My hand is now dark grey and swollen, which is entirely my fault for forgetting to wear gloves...

Could be something like Graves Disease, a problem with your thyroid gland which regulates all kinds of things. I would get it checked out.

Usually with Graves you have bulging goldfish-like eyes (for some reason the muscles are irritated by the anti-TSHR antibodies) so they swell and bulge outward.

I'm leaning towards hyperthyroidism, but, the symptoms may arise from the manic phase of a psychosis - - or both, or something else.

I suppose starting with a thyroid test. Because VI is skinny, she probably has elevated T3/T4 in her blood kicking up her metabolism. Start by getting some blood work done.

Haven't had any more lovely effects symptoms.

I'ma leave it alone for now. It would be kinda low of me to walk into the doctor's office and say 'Um well my adrenal glands went all Mount St Helens on me, but that was several days ago and I'm fine now'...

I'll have it seen to if it reoccurs, though. I had a disorder like that for a while when I was 17, and I don't want a round 2...

If it's an underlying condition, they should still be able to run tests. My friend almost died of Graves Disease, now he has a pacemaker and has to take adrenalyn blockers (and like 10 other drugs).

It's good you're well. My advice is to speak to your GP about a blood test. Hopefully she's smart enough to run some appropriate tests for you

IF you're getting a feeling she's/he's not going to. Tell them you have had a recurrent splitting headache that's generally not located any where but hurts like hell. Grab your head a bit. That'll get the tests flowing

It's still the caffeine. And yes, you should be worried.
Remember those links I posted to you some time ago?

I cut down on the caffeine, too. I have one to wake me up in the morning and one before heavy exercise...
